During university studies in Culinary Arts we – Susanne Torssell and Linnea Andersson – got to know each other very well. After a few years on different paths we started working together running our own café and restaurant. It was just a coincidence when Susanne stumbled over an advert for a charming hotel in the South of France. It was meant to be!

In 2017 we both moved from Stockholm, Sweden to run Hotel du Soleil. We absolutely love the French culture, with its long tradition of good food and wine, and the stunning scenery around Saint-Raphaël with the red rocks of the Esterel Massif and of course the Mediterranean Sea. 

After upgrading the hotel to 3-star quality, we simply couldn’t resist utilizing our culinary skills and experience from the restaurant profession, so we have now opened a garden restaurant for our guests in the summer months.

We hope all our guests will feel well taken care of, while enjoying delicious food and wines in a calm and relaxing atmosphere after a day at the beach or day-trip in the region – followed by a good night’s sleep in one of our comfortable rooms of course!
